Apply Our Hearts to Wisdom: A Guide to Faith-Based
Comprehensive Sexuality Education
A guide for clergy who wish to incorporate faith-based sexuality education
into their congregations' educational programs and are looking for guidance
on where to find appropriate materials and on how to evaluate those materials.
The guide provides the rationale and then gives the tools for clergy and congregations
to engage in faith-based comprehensive sexuality education. Part I presents
the rationale for doing this work and the necessary components for a good
comprehensive sexuality curriculum. Part II provides bibliographies of faith-based
curricula. Part III gives an in-depth look at select faith-based curricula
created by and for pro-choice denominations, analyzed and evaluated according
to the criteria laid out in Part I.

Faith
& Choices Action Kits
The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice has developed Action
Kits for religious leaders and congregations. The kits are intended
to assist groups in exploring what being pro-choice and pro-faith
means today. They can be used as a curriculum for study circles, adult
education classes, and youth groups and as a resource for sermons,
conversations with youth, and counseling women and men, among other
possibilities. Seven kits have been developed for seven denominations
